Each recipient must spend 2 years or more completeing at least 400 hours of community service, 200 hours of both personal development and physical fitness activities, and a 4-night Expediton of Exploration.

Congresswoman Foxx hosted a roundtable meeting on the reauthorization of No Child Left Behind. The roundtable took place in Forsyth County, February 2007. Teachers and administrators from across the fifth district and Department of Education staff were invited to participate in the discussion on reauthorization.
