NAS DIVISION PROJECTS

Staff members in the NAS Division supports numerous high-level projects under the sponsorship of the High End Computing Capability (HECC) Project, in addition to other work critical to NASA missions.

The high-level projects supported by the NAS Division are:

Pleiades
The new 51,200-core Pleiades supercomputer increased NASA's computing capability an additional 2.5 times when it became operational in late 2008.
