Wreaths Across America Program (15 Photos)
As part of the national Wreaths Across America prgram, 1000 wreaths were laid on gravesites in the Andrew Johnson National Cemetery on December 14, 2007.
A service was held on Saturday, December 15, 2007 to honor our country's veterans. It was one of many such services held simultaneously across the nation.

Did You Know?
Martha Johnson Patterson, Andrew Johnson's daughter, said their slave Sam would boast that he was Johnson's servant. "But in truth," she continued, "Andrew Johnson belonged to Sam." According to family tradition, Andrew Johnson told Sam where he wished to be buried.
