Recreation - Cabin Rental

Rogers Rental Cabins Brochure (.pdf file)
NRA cabins provide long views, solitude, and mountains!
The rental fees collected from
these cabins are used to maintain and improve the cabins
themselves.
Our visitors like this arrangement because the rental fee you pay this
year might very well show up next year as a fresh coat of paint, a new
deck, or other improvement or repair.
Please Note: No pets are allowed.
Senior Pass and Access pass are NOT accepted.
You can reserve these cabins through Reserve America by calling 877-444-6777

Sunrise Cabin
This beautiful two-story home of more than 2,500 square feet features
four bedrooms and two baths. It has electricity and a large kitchen with
refrigerator, stove and sink.
There are beautiful wood floors throughout and the living room has a
big stone fireplace to take the chill off mountain evenings! A huge yard
lets Dad show-off how he used to play football in high school and a big
front porch is just the place where he can relax in the shade and recuperate.
The views from this cabin are fantastic with rolling mountains as far
as the eye can see. Nearby attractions include fishing, boating, and swimming
in the New River which is just a few miles away.
Enjoy mountain bicycling, horseback riding, and hiking on the nearby
New River Trail State Park, or visit several historic iron furnaces located
throughout the area. The Virginia Highlands Horse Trail is a stone's throw
from the cabin!
Maximum occupancy is eight people. The cabin has 4 bedrooms with 1 full
bed, 6 single beds and 1 couch (does not fold out into a bed). Bring your own linens and pillows. There is
electric baseboard heat in addition to the fireplace.

Blue Springs Gap Cabin
Located high on a mountaintop, this rustic 900-square foot cabin seems
to be on top of the world. From the wrap-around porch you can watch clouds
roll over range-after-range of blue mountains. Only the occasional cry
of a hawk or the "whoosh" of a soaring vulture breaks the spell.
Leave modern inconveniences and distractions behind as you unwind. You'll
sleep like a baby in one of three cozy bedrooms with no telephone to disturb
you.
Families and small groups will enjoy whipping up simple but tasty meals
on an outside charcoal grill, unencumbered by "labor-saving"
nuisances such as microwave ovens or fancy food processors. There is electricity,
a flush toilet, stove and refrigerator. There is no shower or drinking
water. A fireplace is the only heat source. This is living "pioneer
style" with your head in heaven and your lungs full of clean Virginia
air. It simply doesn't get any better than
this!
Maximum occupancy is eight people. The cabin has 3 bedrooms with 1 queen
bed, 1 twin/twin bunk bed, and 1 full/full bunk bed. Bring your own linens and pillows.
