PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENTS

The West Side Shooting Range on the North River Ranger District is now open.

The Elizabeth Furnace Family Campground and Day Use Area will have reduced services during the 2008 summer season. Due to a faulty water system the flush toilet/shower buildings will be closed as well as the dump station and hydrants. There will be no water in the Day-Use area. Campers can get water from the hand-pump located near the campground entrance. Vault toilets will be open in both the campground and the picnic area. Reduced fees of $10.00 per night per site will be collected. It is anticipated that the water system will once again be operational for the 2010 season. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
