Directions to Sunrise Cabin

Take exit 80 (Fort Chiswell) off Interstate 81 and go east on US 52 for about one mile. Turn right and go south on VA 94 for about 12 miles until you intersect the Virginia Highlands Horse Trail. Turn right onto a gravel road that is also the Virginia Highlands Horse Trail. This road is called Cha Cha Ridge. Look carefully for the Virginia Highlands Horse Trail sign. If you reach VA 602 you have gone too far. About .3 of a mile down Cha-Cha Ridge, bear RIGHT onto the Virginia Highlands Horse Trail (orange diamond marker). A short distance later, turn LEFT onto a grassy lane. After about 100 yards, the gate for the Sunrise Cabin is on the RIGHT. DO NOT use the gravel road past the trailer homes. Total travel distance from I-81 is 14 miles.

Directions to Blue Springs Gap Cabin

From Marion Area: Take exit 45 off Interstate 81 and go south on VA 16 for about ten miles to VA 695 (if you reach Sugar Grove, you've gone too far). Turn left onto VA 695 and after one mile turn left onto VA 614 and head toward Cedar Springs. After about four miles, turn right onto VA 612 (if you reach Cedar Springs, you've gone too far). After about five miles, turn right onto VA 798 (gravel road). VA 798 is about one mile past the community of Camp. After about three miles you will reach the top of the mountain and a 'T' intersection. Turn right onto VA 672. After about .3 of a mile take the first road to the right which leads to the cabin. The total distance from Marion and I-81 is 24 miles.

From Wytheville Area: Take exit 70 off Interstate 81 and go south on US 21 for about ten miles to the community of Speedwell. Turn right onto VA 749 and after about two miles turn left onto VA 612. After about six miles turn left onto gravel road VA 798 (if you reach the community of Camp you've gone too far). After about three miles you will reach the top of the mountain and a 'T' intersection. Turn right onto VA 672. After about .3 of a mile take the first road to the right which leads to the cabin. The total distance from Wytheville and I-81 is 22 miles.

Directions to Stony Fork Cabin

To get to Stony Fork Cabin from Wytheville, follow I-77 North from Wytheville to Exit 47. Turn left onto Route 717. Follow 4 miles to Stony Fork Campground. The cabin is inside the campground, just past Site Number 50. Total travel distance from Wytheville is 10 miles.
