Welcome to the Pacific
Northwest Region
Aquatic Training Program Website!
The Pacific Northwest Region of the Forest Service has developed a series of training workshops designed to supplement and
strengthen the technical skills of our fisheries and hydrology workforce. These workshops are in direct response to priority
needs identified by field professionals. Our efforts in watershed analysis, restoration, and monitoring require a high level of
technical competence in understanding and management of the aquatic ecosystem.
Our intent is to ensure integration of the latest research and technical information in our management and ensure a basic level of
consistency in application of this information.
In the past, we have had requests from other Regions and agencies to attend our
workshops, but were unable to accommodate these requests. We are now able to offer limited space
to
personnel from other Regions and agencies. |
