Our offices are always on the lookout for driven and committed college students who have an interest in public service.

Our district office – which serves Harlem, East Harlem, Washington Heights, the Upper West Side, and Inwood – offers interns responsibilities ranging from office management, constituent relations, community outreach, casework, correspondence, memo preparation, working on special projects, and conducting research, to attending community events, political outings, and policy forums. We offer a progressive work environment, flexible schedules, a personalized experience, a fast-paced and fun atmosphere, as well as the opportunity to make positive change in constituents' lives.

For any student of politics, an internship affords participants a comprehensive view of his or her government, from local to federal.

The position is unpaid, but students who meet the necessary requirements are eligible to receive academic credit, per their universities' stipulations. Our office is an equal opportunity employer, and we encourage minority candidates to apply.

For internship opportunities in the district, call 212.663.3900 and ask to speak with Jeffrey Margolies. For our Washington office, call 202.225.4365.
