Brian Peterson

Research Physiologist

 

Dr. Peterson is a Research Physiologist working on the development of catfish with improved growth and feed efficiency.  Each year over 100 full-sib families are evaluated for growth and feed conversion efficiency.  His interests include understanding genes and gene products that regulate feed intake and growth efficiency.  Other interests include growth and immune interactions as well as the effects of probiotics on growth and immune function of channel catfish.
