The notice you received in the mail along with the check about a court settlement involving Wachovia Bank is an important legal document.

Carefully read the notice and all the documents that came with it. If you have questions, you should go to the following web site set up especially for people like you: http://www.restitutionpayment.com. There is also a toll-free number you can call. It is 1-866-680-6659.

Wachovia Bank – and at least one of its commercial customers – entered into several agreements. These agreements concern Wachovia Bank’s dealings with companies called payment processors. These payment processors handled financial transactions for telemarketing operations, which operations have been alleged to have been defrauding consumers all over the country.

Various government agencies and private attorneys participated in negotiating the Wachovia Bank agreements.
