Deputy Secretary of Defense Rudy de Leon is continuing his visit to Southern California today. There are no scheduled public or media events on his schedule.
Many Department of Defense offices, including the press office, will be closed on Monday, Oct. 9, a federal holiday.
The next Department of Defense news briefing will be conducted on Tuesday, Oct. 10, at 1:30 p.m. in the Pentagon briefing studio, room 2E781. The briefer will be Rear Adm. Craig Quigley, deputy assistant secretary of Defense for public affairs.
