  All imports of Steel Mill products need an entry-specific license to complete CBP entry summary.  

  The steel licensing program authority has been extended to operate through March 21, 2013.

SIMA Licensing System Revision - March 2009

The SIMA Licensing System website underwent a significant revision that will affect the import license application
process. The new site was launched on March 2, 2009.

Please take a moment to read the January 2009 SIMA Newsletter for further information about the transition to the
new system. Please review the SIMA Revision Tutorial to learn how the system has changed and how to use it.

    Create an account to access the Online License System   (Registration not required to access Import Monitor)
    Use your User ID to log onto the System & Apply for Licenses   (A separate license is required for each entry summary)
