Million Acre Feet Flow Augmentation Impact Analysis

Overview

As part of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers' Lower Snake River Juvenile Salmon Migration Study and Environmental Impact Statement, the Bureau of Reclamation conducted an analysis of Snake River flow augmentation above Lower Granite Dam. Reclamation's analysis addresses the non-salmon impacts to the Snake River basin of providing an additional million acre-feet for flow augmentation. Impacts to endangered anadromous fish are being developed through other processes.
