High School Students-Be Your Own Boss

Welcome to the Entrepreneur U

This site was created by DECA Inc. through a grant funded by the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation for the purpose of informing students, administrators and parents about the opportunities for studying entrepreneurship beyond high school. We hope this web site will bridge the gap between high school students interested in becoming entrepreneurs and postsecondary institutions that have viable entrepreneurship education options.

Search the Entrepreneur U database

The web site has an easy-to-use search engine that will allow students, administrators or parents to select from specific criteria and then link directly with those colleges/university programs that match the selected criteria. In addition to the college database, the web site also features a section specifically designed for entrepreneurship teachers, where they can access valuable resources and link to major organizations that support entrepreneurship education. Teachers can find entrepreneurship related resources such as: meetings/workshops, grants/awards, books, student organizations and real-life entrepreneurship learning connections.

For students, there are links to valuable information about becoming an entrpreneur, related student organizations and financial help. Both entrepreneurship teachers and students planning to study entrepreneurship at the postsecondary level can find out about scholarship opportunities by clicking the scholarship button.

Colleges and universities are invited to register their college entrepreneurship program on the web site at no cost by going online to http://www.entrepreneuru.org/submission and completing the requested information.
