COMDYN is a series of programs that implement species richness and community change estimators for North American Breeding Bird Survey data. The program operates at the scale of survey routes, and permits estimation of change between routes or over time within a route. It also allows for analysis of subsets of the species pools, and has options for analysis of area-sensitive species for the eastern United States.
