Public Involvement

Proposed Federal actions may include controversial projects, programs, and related issues. Two-way communication with the interested and affected public is important to identify and meet needs and solve problems. Our public involvement staff provide expertise in soliciting public opinion, conflict resolution, consensus building, and issue identification. The group assists in scoping for environmental compliance, developing and implementing public involvement programs. We can:
  • Identify individuals and groups and develop public participation and involvement plans
  • Set up, facilitate, and conduct public meetings
  • Record, assess, and interpret public contact information
