Award Number 08HQAG0009, Category 3: Fifty States Initiative
Strategic and Business Plan Development for the Hawai`i Geographic Information Coordinating Council
The goal of this project is for the Hawai`i Geographic Information Coordinating Council (HIGICC) to engage multiple stakeholders. The result will be an overarching vision for statewide GIS coordination and data stewardship in Hawai`i. We will identify programmatic goals to be pursued to realize that vision and will develop a business plan for a priority programmatic goal focused on coordination. HIGICC and the community will achieve a new level of communication that benefits data producers, consumers and the National Spatial Data Infrastructure.
