BlazeSports Club Metro Denver
Colorado Sports for the Physically Challenged / Lakewood, Colorado
Metro Denver was named a BlazeSports Club in 2003. Colorado Sports for the Physically Challenged (CSPC) had been conducting sports programs for over 16 years. Their designation of BlazeSports just brings a solid sports organization into a network to further increase their opportunities and support.
CSPC holds a very successful junior sports camp each year in early June; the camp attracts over 100 young athletes who come to learn from elite wheelchair coaches in many different sports. They also have held specialty camps for basketball and have a successful junior basketball program that runs in the fall and winter. They are looking at getting a wheelchair track program started again in the Denver Metropolitan area.
