The mission of the Iowa Secretary of State’s Office is to provide access to information about businesses in Iowa conveniently and economically, ensure election integrity and access to voting for Iowa citizens, and encourage Iowans to become civically engaged.
To do this, the Secretary of State’s Office is dedicated to providing effective, efficient, and courteous customer service and using technology to enhance its ability to reach all Iowans.
ATTENTION
The Revised Uniform Limited Liability Company Act (Iowa Code Chapter 489) became effective January 1, 2009. All new limited liability company formations and authorizations will be governed by this new Act.
