| Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Richard B. Myers, U.S. Air Force, tells reporters at a Pentagon press briefing on March 28, 2003, that the coalition has air supremacy in over 95 percent of Iraq. Myers and Secretary of Defense Donald H. Rumsfeld gave reporters an update on the progress of Operation Iraqi Freedom, which is the multinational coalition effort to liberate the Iraqi people, eliminate Iraq's weapons of mass destruction and end the regime of Saddam Hussein.
