DEVELOP

DEVELOP is a NASA Applied Sciences human capital development program. Student teams across the U.S. conduct pilot projects that demonstrate to community leaders how NASA Earth science data and technology can be applied to local policy issues. Each DEVELOP project is student-led, with NASA scientists serving as advisors. The student projects cover NASA applications areas that have been identified as national priorities: agricultural efficiency, air quality, aviation, carbon management, coastal management, disaster management, ecological forecasting, energy management, homeland security, invasive species, public health and water management.
