First Tennessee Bank, National Association, Memphis, Tennessee, has contacted the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) to report that counterfeit cashier's checks bearing the institution's name are in circulation. The counterfeit items display the routing number 064201324, which is assigned to First Tennessee Bank, National Association. The counterfeit items also display a logo of a red, white and blue square containing a white star in the top-left portion of the item. "FIRST TENNESSEE" is printed directly beneath the logo. "CASHIER'S CHECK" is displayed in the top-center portion of the counterfeit item, and the following statement appears within the bottom border of the item: "THIS DOCUMENT CONTAINS SECURITY FEATURES – SEE REVERSE- CE DOCUMENT CONTIENT DES CARACTERISTIQUES DE SECURITE- VOIR A LENDOS." Authentic cashier's checks display the bank's logo in the top-left
portion of the check, with "FIRST TENNESSEE" printed directly
to the right. "CASHIER'S CHECK" is displayed in the top-
center portion of the check. Authentic checks do not contain an actual signature
line.
