A) ICNAF haddock closed area established in 1970.  B) U.S. haddock closed Area II.  (The inner, small, triangle-shaped area is that portion of the ICNAF haddock closed area which remained in U.S. waters after the World Court divided Georges Bank between the United States and Canada in 1984.  The outer, large, "L"-shaped area is the expansion which went into effect in January 1994 due to Amendment 5 to the Northeast Multispecies Fishery Management Plan.)
