June 2003 Employment Report PDF Print E-mail
ImageTotal employment on Guam appears to have stabilized from March to June 2003. A substantial increase in construction jobs, estimated at 2,090 during the latest quarter, and 3,350 over the latest one year period has been responsible for maintaining these counts. The construction activity increase is due to a combination of factors, but primarily reconstruction from Typhoons Chata'an and Pongsona, and increased defense construction.
