Announcements

KPD - Click-It or Ticket Campaign
The Kingman Police Department will be participating in the “Click it or Ticket “ enforcement campaign May 18th-31st, 2009. Every year during this Holiday Period Law Enforcement agencies across the United States join together for this enforcement program to make the public aware of the “Click it or Ticket” campaign.

Click it or Ticket is the most successful seatbelt enforcement campaign. This campaign has helped to significantly increase seat belt usage rates. Day or Night, the message is simple “Click it or Ticket”.

The Kingman Police Department will be participating in this program and we will be out issuing seat belt citations where appropriate, while conducting routine DUI Task Force traffic enforcement. We expect that the combination of increased awareness and enforcement, will result in more people remembering to buckle up.
