Risk Management of Petroleum Hydrocarbon Plumes

Title: Cost-Effectiveness Analyses of Natural Attenuation in the Risk Management of Petroleum Hydrocarbon Plumes

Description:

This project evaluates the overall cost-effectiveness of implementing natural attenuation with long-term monitoring. The total cost of natural attenuation will be compared to pro-active plume management techniques, especially soil vapor extraction and pump and treat methods. The project will consist of a survey and critical review of the cost-effectiveness.
