Ocean Color

EDUCATIONAL RESOURCES

In our Education resources, you will find an electronic copy of the popular and out of print "Ocean Color From Space" document which provides an introduction to the scientific applications of Ocean Color. The "Sea Surface Temperature and Phytoplankton Abundance" document was created by students at the U.S. Naval Academy as part of their Spring 1995 semester project on Ocean Color. The "Ocean Color Bibliography" was created from a library search on the subject and is meant to be used as a starting point for further study and library research. Finally, we provide links to many other sites of interest to marine sciences and science educators.

We also maintain a list of links to sites outside the Goddard DAAC that contain ocean color educational resources.
