USGS EROS is supporting first responders and emergency services working in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. In cooperation with FEMA, EROS is the clearinghouse for all aerial, satellite and ground information on areas struck by Katrina. Pre- and post-hurricane imagery have been sent to EROS from numerous commercial, international, and federal data sources.
