Minimize Risk & Injury -
Air bags deploy very rapidly and very close or direct contact with a deploying air bag can cause serious or even fatal injury. -
Ensure all occupants of your vehicle are buckled up and in the proper seating position. -
Keep at least 10 inches between your breastbone and the cover of the air bag module. -
Never place a rear-facing infant seat in front of an active air bag unless the air bag ON-OFF switch is in the OFF position. -
Place children under 13 in the rear seat and ensure children are properly restrained. -
