Pre-notification Consultations

• Types of PNC Requests:

1) meetings to discuss the requirements and

recommendations needed to support a specific

acceptable submission,

2) information concerning a CEDI/ADI for food-contact

substances that does not already exist in the CEDI/ADI

database available at:

http://www.cfsan.fda.gov/~dms/opa-edi.html, and

3) information concerning the eligibility of

substances to be considered FCNs.
