Pre-Doctoral Or Post-Doctoral Position In Blood Coagulation Research

A postdoctoral or pre-doctoral position is available for a highly motivated candidate to study the molecular mechanisms of blood coagulation factor VIII interaction with its ligands, and the immunogenicity of factor VIII therapeutic products.

Qualifications:

Knowledge and skills in recombinant DNA methodology (designing plasmid constructs, cloning and mutagenesis of DNA, expression of recombinant proteins) and protein chemistry (protein purification, characterization and assays) are required. Good oral and written skills, creativity in designing experiments, and ability to analyze data are required. Knowledge in blood coagulation, immunology, and experience in working with lab animals are pluses.

Applicants should be eligible to work in the USA (US citizens or visa holders).

The laboratoryis located on the NIH campus in Bethesda, Maryland and offers an excellent environment for professional development.

Salary Range :

Candidates will be offered competitive salary depending on their experience.
