Large-Scale Orthophoto Standards Development And Implementation

The objectives of this project are (1) to develop and implement a revised standard for digital orthophotos with emphasis on large-scale orthoimage, and (2) to provide the technical base (algorithms, procedures) and experience needed for final revision of this standard for the near future national large-scale digital orthophoto deployment in National Digital Orthophoto Programs (NDOP). The project will include the evaluation of the Standard for Digital Orthophotos using federal, state, local agencies and industrial sectors partners and promotion and outreach.
