This document is optimized for Adobe Acrobat Reader version 6.0 or higher. The file may not work correctly in earlier versions. This is definitely the case for Adobe Acrobat Approval 5.0.

Adobe Acrobat Approval 5.0 and a later version of Adobe Acrobat Reader can be used on the same machine. Download and install the new Adobe Acrobat Reader, taking care to install it in a separate folder, in order to avoid overwriting or interfering with Adobe Acrobat Approval. Make the new version of Reader the default application for viewing PDF files.

Double-clicking on a PDF file will launch Acrobat Reader when it is designated as the default application. To open a file with Adobe Acrobat Approval, right click on the file name and select “Open With”. A list of applications will appear. Select Adobe Acrobat Approval 5.0 from the list.
