A Great Place to Live
New England

Historic and picturesque New England is a six-state region comprising Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine. Five of the six states border the Atlantic Ocean, and key population centers are port cities. Truly, the sea is engrained in the culture of New England.

The first successful colonial settlements in America were in New England, and for nearly four centuries it has been an important center of education, commerce, and culture. It is also widely known for its four distinct seasons: winter with snow, warm bright spring, hot sunny summer, and cool colorful fall.

Recognized the world over for its exemplary colleges and universities, New England is unparalleled as a place to go to school. Here you will find half of the Ivy League, young men and women attending elite liberal arts colleges, renowned medical schools, major public and private research universities, and top-tier engineering schools, including the Coast Guard Academy.
