Secretaries Chu and Solis to Announce Local "Green Jobs" Funding During Visit to Community College of Allegheny County
Will be accompanied by Congressman Mike Doyle and Pittsburgh Mayor Luke Ravenstahl
 
Washington, DC – Energy Secretary Steven Chu and Labor Secretary Hilda Solis will announce a major new investment to create "green jobs" in Pittsburgh and other communities during a visit to the Community College of Allegheny County today.

Secretaries Chu and Solis will be joined by Congressman Mike Doyle and Pittsburgh Mayor Luke Ravenstahl.

The group will tour Allegheny County’s training facility for hands on demonstrations of job training and high efficiency building technologies. They will also discuss creating new jobs and strengthening the nation’s economy while combating climate change.
