Markup: HR 1413 and HR 1981

The Subcommittee on Transportation Security and Infrastructure Protection of the Committee on Homeland Security will meet in open markup session at

1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 24, 2007,

in 1539 Longworth House Office Building

to consider the following measures:

H.R. 1413, To direct the Assistant Secretary of Homeland Security (Transportation Security Administration) to address vulnerabilities in aviation security by carrying out a pilot program to screen airport workers with access to secure and sterile areas of airports.; and

H.R. 1981, To amend title 49, United States Code, to direct the Assistant Secretary of Homeland Security (Transportation Security Administration) to issue regulations establishing security standards for foreign repair stations performing maintenance for aircraft used to provide air transportation.
