New Mexico Incentives and Laws

Last Updated April 2009

The New Mexico legislature meets from mid-January to mid-March in odd numbered years, and from mid-January to mid-February in even number years. A bill received by the governor with more than three days left in the session automatically becomes law without signature on the last day of session, unless the governor vetoes the legislation. Legislation transmitted within the last three days of the session must be acted upon by the governor within 20 days of session adjournment.

New Mexico is the home of the Land of Enchantment Clean Cities Coalition. Coordinator contact information is listed in the Points of Contact section.
