The Planning, Analysis, and Evaluation (PAE) Team at EERE assists senior management and technology development programs in strategic planning, corporate and market analysis, and program evaluation activities. PAE has developed a comprehensive analysis database, which provides information on results of its activities. To learn more about this database and other related resources, access the PAE page on this site.
This Planning, Budget, and Analysis (PBA) section of EERE's Web site provides information on EERE's budget, the measurement of program performance against stated goals, and the integration of performance metrics (and the President's Management Agenda) into the budget-planning process. The office also conducts high-level analyses of key market and technology issues, policy developments, and projected benefits for EERE programs.
The Office of Planning, Budget, and Analysis (PBA) provides information that informs policy development and program planning, including market and economic analysis, estimation of the public benefits of EERE's programs, evaluation of past program performance, and a variety of other analytical tools.
PBA provides guidance to all of EERE's programs regarding the preparation of multiyear program plans, facilitates development and refinement of EERE corporate goals, and facilitates corporate strategic planning.
PBA leads EERE corporate budget formulation and defense, annual performance plan facilitation, quarterly program performance reporting, and related President's Management Agenda (PMA) topics.
PBA takes an active role in measuring the performance and conducting evaluations of EERE's major programs.
PBA conducts analyses and collects and disseminates data relating to renewable energy and energy efficiency programs and the related technologies.
