DOE Funds Clean Energy Projects on Tribal Lands and Alaska Villages
DOE announced on August 13 its award of up to $13.6 million in multi-year funding for new clean energy projects on tribal lands. In addition to the Alaskan villages, the funding will go to tribes and in Arizona, Arkansas, California, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Washington, and Wisconsin.
