SPECIALTY CROP BLOCK GRANT PROGRAM

California Agriculture Helps Feed the Nation and the World!

The California Department of Food and Agriculture (CDFA) is pleased to announce the competitive solicitation process to award 2009 Speciality Crop Block Grant Program (SCBGP) funds for projects that enhance the competitiveness of California specialty crops.

Although the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS) has not officially released SCBGP funds to the states, CDFA projects up to $15 million will be available for grant awards.

All prospective applicants are encouraged to thoroughly read the Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) via the "~NEW~2009 Grant Award Information" link before submitting an application.
