TOMORROW: Secretary Chu to Keynote 34th Annual AAAS Forum

Washington, DC – Tomorrow, US Energy Secretary Steven Chu will address the American Association for the Advancement of Science’s (AAAS) 34th annual Forum on Science and Technology Policy.

Secretary Chu will discuss energy policy under the Obama Administration, reaffirming the vision for science laid out by President Obama on Monday at the National Academy of Sciences.  That vision includes doubling the budgets of the Department of Energy's Office of Science, the National Science Foundation, and the National Institute of Standards and Technology, as well as a pledge to achieve historic levels of investment in research and development.
