Scalise announces $94,352 for Healthcare Facility in Tangipahoa Parish

Washington, DC -- Congressman Steve Scalise today announced that the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services is awarding Tangipahoa Parish Government a $94,352 grant for health care facilities.

The funds will be used to purchase equipment for a new Environmental Services facility to be opened on Club Delux Road in Hammond.

The grant is part of the Health Care and Other Facilities grant program. The program helps local governments construct, renovate, expand, equip or modernize health care facilities and other health care related facilities.
