HUD Regulations

Through its Energy Action Plan (MS-Word 152KB), HUD is working to provide for, encourage, and improve energy efficiency in housing.

In addition, HUD has established a number of regulations specifically regarding the use of energy and water in public housing. The current regulations are found in the Federal Code of Regulations (FCR), particularly Title 24—Housing and Urban Development—Office of Assistant Secretary for Public and Indian Housing, Department of Housing and Urban Development.
