Section 303(d) of the federal Clean Water Act requires a list of impaired streams in the state. The 303(d) list is used for TMDL selection and development in West Virginia. The state has more than 9,500 streams covering 32,000 miles.
The West Virginia 20004 Integrated Water Quality Monitoring and Assessment Report is the new reporting method used by the U.S. EPA which combines the 303(d) listing and 305(b). The 305(b) is an overall assessment of West Virginia's waters.
Water Quality Data Form - Please use this form for submitting data for 303(d) or Integrated Report in 2008. Water quality data collected from July 1, 2002 through June 30, 2007 is acceptable. (This is a Microsoft Word file).
