Draft EA/FONSI Available for the Approval of a Grant for the Development of Tulare Irrigation District's Thompson Regulation Basin
The Bureau of Reclamation has released a Draft Environmental Assessment (EA) and Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI) to approve water conservation grant funds to Tulare Irrigation District (TID) for construction of a regulation basin (Basin). The Basin will regulate water supplies and enhance flexibility in TID's water distribution system to reduce water spillage due to fluctuation in irrigation cycles.

The Draft EA and FONSI were prepared in accordance with the National Environmental Policy Act, and are available online at http://www.usbr.gov/mp/nepa/nepa_projdetails.cfm?Project_ID=3693.
