FDIC MAKES PUBLIC JUNE 1998 ENFORCEMENT ACTIONS
NO ADMINISTRATIVE HEARINGS SCHEDULED FOR AUGUST

The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) today released a list of orders of administrative enforcement actions taken against banks and individuals in June. No administrative hearings are scheduled for August.

The FDIC processed a total of 30 orders in June. These included three cease-and-desist orders, two removal and prohibition orders, one termination of insurance order, two terminations of cease-and-desist orders, one adjudicated decision, nine call report penalties and 12 Home Mortgage Disclosure Act penalties.
