Internships/Page Program

House Page Program

Our office has recently been notified that Congressman Miller is eligible to nominate a Congressional Page for the 2009 July summer session of the U.S. House of Representatives Democratic Page Program. This is the first time in two years that Congressman Miller has had this opportunity.

If you are interested in being Rep. Miller’s nominee, please contact the Raleigh or Greensboro district offices. Each office has a copy of the application form and all the requirements necessary. If you are unable to pick up the application in one of our office locations, please contact either Pam Kohl in Raleigh or Nikki Wilson in Greensboro for further instructions.

Important Information

Session begins with check-in on Sunday, July 5th and ends on Saturday August 1st. Qualified applicants need to be at least sixteen years of age prior to start of the program and must have completed the 10th grade but not yet started the 12th grade, must be a citizen of the United States, and a resident of the NC 13th congressional district.

House Pages receive a stipend that will be processed and distributed at the end of their time in DC. Room and board is taken out of this stipend and covers dorm costs as well as morning and evening meals. Pages are on their own for lunch.

Deadlines for completed applications are May 11th, 2009. You will need to turn them in, in person, to either the Raleigh or Greensboro office.
