  • The percentage of children ages 6 and under regularly exposed to environmental tobacco smoke in the home decreased from 27 percent in 1994 to 11 percent in 2003.
  • In 2004, an estimated 20.9 percent of adults were current smokers, down from 25.0 percent in 1993.1
