Federal Labor Relations Authority - An independent agency that administers the labor-management relations program for federal employees world-wide; promotes stable and constructive labor-management relations that contribute to effective and efficient government.

National Mediation Board - An independent agency that performs a central role in facilitating harmonious labor-management relations in the railroad and airline industries.

National Labor Relations Board - Administers the National Labor Relations Act, the primary law governing relations between unions and employers in the private sector.

Merit Systems Protections Board - An independent quasi-judicial agency established to protect federal merit systems against partisan political and other prohibited personnel practices and to ensure adequate protection for employees against abuses by agency management.

Equal Employment Opportunity Commission - Enforces federal EEO laws.
