ORDER TO PAY
FDIC-94-131K

   ROGER A. PETERSEN ("Respondent") {{12-31-94 p.C-3813}}and a representative of the Legal Division of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation ("FDIC") executed a STIPULATION AND CONSENT TO THE ISSUANCE OF AN ORDER TO PAY AND AN ORDER TO CEASE AND DESIST ("CONSENT AGREEMENT") dated August 31, 1994, whereby Respondent, solely for the purpose of this proceeding only and without admitting any violations of a final order issued pursuant to section 8(b), 12 U.S.C. § 1818(b), for which civil money penalties may be assessed (except those limited admissions contained in the CONSENT AGREEMENT), consented and agreed to pay a civil money penalty in the amount of $10,000 to the Treasury of the United States.
   After taking into account the CONSENT AGREEMENT, the appropriateness of the penalty with respect to the financial resources and good faith of Respondent, the gravity of the violations by Respondent, the history of previous violations by Respondent, and such other matters as justice requires, the FDIC accepts the CONSENT AGREEMENT and issues the following:

ORDER TO PAY

   IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that Respondent is assessed and shall pay a civil money penalty in the amount of $10,000 to the Treasury of the United States within ten days of the effective date hereof.
   This ORDER TO PAY shall be effective upon issuance.
   Dated at Washington, D.C., this 18th day of October, 1994.
